Día 0

Día 0.  Movilidad KA1 concedida al IES Tirant Lo Blanc , financiada por la UE  que consiste en la formación durante cinco días en Bolonia cuya finalidad es tratar la diversidad en el aula y proporcionarnos materiales y técnicas para afrontarla. Así como una serie de contenidos teóricos de carácter reflexivo y teórico, suficientes para formarnos en aspectos que ya se están dando y otros que se nos pueden presentar. Por otro lado el curso incluirá la cuestión de la interculturalidad presente igualmente en nuestras aulas. El nombre del curso al que asistiremos lleva por título: Intercultural Learning and cultural diversity in education.

El programa se presenta de la siguiente manera:

Sunday

-  Participants arrival  -  Individual orientation and information about the venue and the city   -  Networking activities  -  Guided visit in Bologna (optional)  -  Welcome dinner

Monday  -  Course introduction  -  Ice-breaking activities  -  Teambuilding exercises  -  Competences ex-ante evaluation   -  An everyday more multicultural and diverse class: new challenges in a changing          and globalized society   -  Real-life example: a teacher experience with immigrant pupils, lessons learned            and practical ideas  -  Sharing experiences and challenges in working in multicultural schools

Tuesday

​-  Becoming aware of cultural patterns and taking them into consideration when              planning the lessons  -  How to prevent and fight stereotypes and prejudices at school  -  Visit to an Italian school with pupils from more than 30 countries and discussion          with local teachers  -  Cultural activities in Bologna and traditional Italian aperitif

	-  How to foster students’ inclusion, tolerance and intercultural awareness through          non-formal, informal and experiential learning activities -  Guided visit in Florence or Venice (optional)
Thursday	-  The extra benefit of using non-formal education methods in a multicultural                    environment  -  Practicing, designing and delivering non-formal activities and tools  -  Cooperating with NGOS and the local community to strengthen pupils intercultural      and European awareness -  Visit to local NGO active in the field of multiculturalism and integration of refugee

Friday	-  Storytelling and simulation exercises: a concrete way to fight stereotypes and to          develop intercultural abilities  -  Practicing, designing and delivering storytelling and simulation exercises  -  Visit to a local school with experience in integrating immigrant children in the               educational system  -  Dinner in traditional Italian restaurant
Saturday	-  Space for discussion of future cooperation and planning follow up activities  -  Course roundup and final evaluation  -  Validation of learning outcomes and certification ceremony  -  Additional training session tailored to specific needs (optional)  -  Cultural activities or additional guided visit in another major Italian city (optional)  -  Participants departure

Me pregunto cuáles son mis espectativas del curso en Bolonia. Y son tantas, son tantas las ganas de ir, de volver a salir que no sabría por dónde  empezar : creo que estoy empezando a ver demasiado rosa, pero un vídeo tiene la culpa, un vídeo en el que una ponente explica tantas cosas que comparto sobre lo que implica la interculturalidad en un colegio, instituto, tienda, parque, calle, etc., ese vídeo me hace soñar con aprender, con alguien que nos inspire de verdad y podamos hacer algo bueno, algo con lo que sentirse digna ante una clase. Quiero un curso catártico , que nos sacuda también de la monotonía y de lo difícil que es todo. Pero también sin exagerar, pues la realidad es nuestra mejor aliada, tal vez una iluminación discreta pero intensa, duradera y sensata.
